As a Funeral Celebrant I am available to work with the Funeral Director of your choice as regards a bereaved family’s circumstances, instructions, and requests.
'What do you say'? I say what you are unable, due to your grief, to say. I will speak the words that you wish spoken. I will put together a service based on your requests, I listen to the bereaved family. My enquiries may lead me to other family members or colleagues who, with your permission, would like to speak as part of the service.
My role as a Celebrant is to create a ‘celebration of life’, to develop a eulogy that is an accurate and authentic representation of the person who has died, paying tribute to the human qualities, relationships, joys and sorrows, milestones, and achievements big or small, of the deceased. My intention is to tread a short but significant path of the journey of those coming to terms with loss, grief and healing. Honoring a life with beautiful words, music and ritual to remind us that relationships are not yet finished in death, but take on a new form and meaning.
